Rumors had filled up the online gambling world with regards to Zynga, which is one of the big names in the social gaming network industry. According to the rumors, the gaming company was among the 6 big names, which were bidding for acquiring the popular, Ongame Poker Network.
However, curtains were drawn on the rumor, as it got a response on one of the sites on internet. The report, which was offered by the website where the response was given, stated that the San Francisco-based social networking gaming company is not amongst the bidders in the race for acquisition of Ongame.
Since Zynga was unable to be successful in its Shuffle Master Deal, the company became pretty much careful in not responding to the Ongame poker rooms, which belonged to Bwin Party. However, even then, many found Zynga as one of the potential buyers.
This belief was mainly to the fact that one of the officials of Zynga confirmed that the company intends to step forth in the real money gambling world. With Ongame acquisition, things would have gone in the right direction.
Despite all what was said before, Zynga is no more one of the bidders for acquiring Ongame Poker Network. Even though Ongame is amongst the biggest networks in the online gambling world with several sites getting operated through its channel, the list of players participating in its site was to dip drastically, following the merger of Bwin Players into PartyPoker.
